I can only share my experience… everybody’s own may vary.
It could well be Friday afternoon – Monday morning issues too… especially in Italy :-)

Hey I want to believe. As a long time Duc owner and ersatz Ducati mechanic by necessity, I do not. Incidentally I have a 1200 GSA hexhead w 93k miles on it. Never gave me any problems either. Just because Audi owns Ducati now and has spiffied up the manufacturing process as a matter of course, well – that don’t change much as I’ve seen. The bikes still have their issues, those issues have not magically disappeared. I think a BMW is a much better choice for purpose here.

Ducati is a modern brand now.
90,000 KM… on my MTS, hard miles, lots of off-road. Never left me stranded.
Ironically, been with 2 separate BMW’s that failed during that same time.
Anecdotal, but real world experience.

Or a baby Monster for around $7,000.

I mean those V4 engines are kind of thirsty in a way that the good old hex head flat twin aren’t. I love Ducatis but you are guaranteed a breakdown with them. So unless you have a support truck get an old BMW and spare yourself a bad time of it lol. Ducati want to break thru to a new segment why not make scooters. I love scooters. A Ducati scooter would be bad ass. 49cc that tops 70 mph is something the world needs now, to hell with love sweet love

wrong! it offers you many more trips to the fuel station, by most accounts. I found my 2018 MTS rather fuel sipping by comparison.

Desert X for mid $20k with a few farkles…. And don’t forget Ducati is aggressively implementing no “at home” basic maintenance….. take it to the stealership to check your tire pressure……owners manual has zero chapters in routine maintenance checks….

Absolutely agree. I’m a proud owner of the green version of this… I am reluctant to trade for the V4 which offers nothing more and looks considerably worse.

I got the green one instead of the tan one, but I freakin’ love it. Irrational motorcycle joy

Many of the listed ‘new’ items are carryover from the V2 Enduro.
30 litre tank, tubeless spoke rims, removable rubber wider pegs, back-lit switches, etc.
For sure there are changes to the radar linked capabilities and using the preload as a bogus height reducer… but it’s a lot of up-charge for the differences.
