I see Honda’s release as a course correction. The AT didn’t hit quite as well as expected, yet the T7 has (which itself was overly long to reach market).

I have to feel some passion for a motorcycle. When I look at the images… It evokes the same product lust as a home appliance.

I’m not sure I’m 100% in agreement with that assessment (hard to judge a bike I haven’t seen), but I will say that part of the problem here is the length of time Honda took to get a bike like this out and how seriously they’ve taken the popularity of the ADV space.

The spec is bland also. Considering the Tenere and Desert-X occupy this segment… this seems underwhelming. There was a lot of expectation for an AT750… this is not it.
Honda now needs to up its game with the Africa-twin 1100…. the brand is getting left behind.
